Hi! Quite happy to have some feedback :) As porting to sdl is already a big task, we don't intend to support multiple backends (nor clanlib, neither cairo), at least not yet. The sdl version won't need any opengl acceleration, only software based rendering! But while reading linuxfr commentaries :), there was a post about glSDL, which appears to be an opengl backend to sdl! :) So without any work we could get back a lovely 200 fps, with recent gfx card :)
