There are times I wonder if a certain former employee of ABC and CNN, last seen teaching at Arizona State, is laughing or crying. CNN is still my go-to network for crises, but only because the alternative is, well, Fox. As I watched talking head after talking head Saturday afternoon before switching to baseball, I kept wondering why the heck they didn't tap into ang local coverage, beyond video. San Francisco is only a top-10 market, after all ....
