I'm using a custom BA to install different MSI packages with DisplayInternalUI="no". I have tried setting the UILevel property to 2 as well, which made no difference.
I will still see MSI error message boxes, e.g. for 1709 Errors for obsolete packages that have no majorupgrade handling. I want to handle all MSI errors with my custom BA. This is the corresponding log: The MSI is called like this from the BA according to the log: What is CLIENTUILEVEL and why is it set by Burn? Is it possible to suppress all MSI message boxes? -- View this message in context: http://windows-installer-xml-wix-toolset.687559.n2.nabble.com/How-to-suppress-MSI-error-message-boxes-with-custom-BA-tp7599793.html Sent from the wix-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
