The UI should short-circuit from the WelcomeDlg to the VerifyReadyDlg when the
PATCH property is defined. Do you have a custom UI, and if so, how did you
build it up?

Subject: [WiX-users] Patch uninstall from APR on Windows 2012 R2 going into
repair mode

Everyone,

I was doing patch testing on Windows 2012 R2 and noticed that my patches were
not uninstalling when targeted through APR. Instead maintenance mode was
launched and the user was prompted with the standard modify, Repair, or
uninstall option for the product. I can remove patches just fine from the
command line or through the Windows API layers, but APR functionality has
changed.

I went back to Windows 2008 just to make sure nothing was wrong with the patch
and everything functioned as it always had and the patch uninstalled.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a new MSI property that needs to be set?

Thank you in advance for any insight into the issue and possible solutions.
