Backing Up Phil Here, I've had the same issues with the CrystalReports Merge Modules. After reading some very old posts on Sybase and other forums, it sounds as if the Merge Modules in both our cases were made for InstallShield. InstallSheild's template from what I can tell(just from reading, mind you) populates the event mapping table with the arguments that are then used in the Merge Module In short the premade merge modules depend on InstallShield.
