Hey folks, Hello, was wondering if I could get some thoughts on this...
I've been asked to provide a bundled exe created in burn and a MSI for our product... The idea being that clients will generally use the exe which will install the our msi and VSTO. The standalone MSI I've been asked to provide in case a client wants to do a network deployment. My concern here is that a client receives a version 1 and then decides they want to upgrade via a network deployment when we release version 2? Is this a common scenario? And is there a recommended approach for accommodating it if so?
