Hi, I think it has nothing to do with the wix installer. I've seen Problems like this when the date on the Target machine is not set correct or the machine has some Problems validating certs.

The bundle installs just fine on most Windows 7 machines, but for whatever reason not on this particular user's laptop. The bundle simply installs .Net 4.0 and then the product MSI. I gave the MSI to the user and it installed no problem. Then I rebuilt with Wix 3.7 and let the user try it -- same error as with Wix 3.6. I guess I could try two more things: (a) Wix 3.8 and (b) the VS2010 bootstrapper.
