Thanks for the reply. I set the value of WixMbaPrereqPackageId variable to the id of dotnet 4.0 package included in my bundle. So it now runs well on a Windows Xp PC where dotnet 4.0 is not installed. But it still doesn't run on the Windows 7 PC where dotnet 4.0 is not installed.
