I understand, I was trying not to repeat what had already been covered in the
thread.
My "/Any more info on this?/" was referring to Blair's previous comment:
"/I'm going to seek confirmation, but this appears to be due to a known bug
that can't easily be fixed that doesn't affect Vista and newer platforms./"

I have studied the logs in depth and the point of difference between the
same upgrade on Windows XP compared to Windows 7 is:

  - On Windows XP, when uninstalling (quiet) the old bundle, instead of
detecting dependents it states
    "...
Plan begin, 6 packages, action: Uninstall
Plan skipped removal of provider key:
{9eae7624-4645-42ed-acf8-1b31e1a77abf} because it is registered to a
different bundle: (null)
     ..."

  - On Windows 7, at the same point, burn correctly detects dependents,
stating
    "...
Plan begin, 6 packages, action: Uninstall
Will not uninstall package: PackageD, found dependents: 1
     Found dependent: {a24fa070-087f-4d77-a95a-b1c33abc707e}, name: My
Bundle
     ..."

Please find full logs attached. I greatly appreciate any assistance.
