I posted this question on Stack Overflow, but it hasn't gotten any responses yet: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19058733/force-caching-of-compressed-packages-in-a-wix-custom-bootstrapper-application <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19058733/force-caching-of-compressed-packages-in-a-wix-custom-bootstrapper-application>
What I want to do is have all the 'compressed' packages in my bundle be cached, so that if the user later does a 'modify' action on their installation and selects a package which wasn't originally installed, there should be no prompt for the original installer source if it has been moved/deleted, etc. Is there some way to do this? I haven't figured out how to do it yet. I'm on WiX 3.7.
