Hi All, I would like to hear an opinion from users and administrators about the following issue: Recently I was asked to change during installation MSDTC service configuration, namely Failure options to continue working on third and all consequtive fails. My questions is: 1. Is it a good practice in general to change services configuration that were installed not by your application? 2. Is it safe to change the configuration particularly of MSDTC service that is responsible for transactional operation on Windows resources. 3. What resources is it safe to change if at all (See p.p.1,2)?
