Hi Jose, I suspect if you provide a little more information, such as the WiX version, Visual Studio version, etc., someone else on the forum who has used burn will be able to help you get up and running. I wouldn't abandon burn just yet. I think many people have used it successfully and it has a lot of advantages from what I understand.
