Hi at all! I have working in a WIX project that’s only install 3d data file library (not .exe’s). I’d like, after install, add a new entry in user Library (in Windows 7 or above) like that.
Libraries ======= Documents Music Videos Images * My 3d files The approach I am following is: 1) Install a pre-created “My 3d files.library-ms” (with dummy data) in c:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Library 2) Use XmlFile Element for editing the folder entry with the final install directory. I know that this approach is not safety at all. ¿Is there any straightforward method for create/edit Library entries in Wix?
