As I have read that one possibility to speed up the installation is to rename
the file in the MSBuild table to make them ordered by the folders where they
are located, it will be possible to add an optimization in the MSI package to
rename the files when building the package as to include a prefix to identify
the fullpath as to order all the files based on their location?In my MSI I have
many files that are harvested by Heat so it would be difficult to rename them
by my own (for example using a complex XSLT transformation).I could be added
even an option on the Heat tool to optimize the name generation for files. what
do you think?
