1. Debugging with UAC off - yes, you'll always see the second process launched. It will be more challenging to debug with UAC off. None of those other things matter at all. <smile/>
2. Same mechanism - take a look at the code. <smile/> You'll see the BA for mbapreq is from the wixstdba.dll. Some extra stuff is set to make it behave slightly differently. The UI customizations and all that are identical though.
