Hi Rob and Wix Family, Thank you very much for simplifying Wix Toolset building (from version 3.7).
I have managed to build a local copy of Heat.exe targeting x64. However, I get the following error when I run it: System.IO.FileLoadException was unhandled Message: Could not load file or assembly 'heat, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c9acf360d0e036e3' or one of its dependencies. Strong name validation failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8013141A) I noticed that the "Delay Sign only" flag is set to true. I tried using SN tool to re-sign Heat.exe assembly as follows: SN -R heat.exe ..\..\..\tools\publickey_wix.snk This fails with: Failed to extract public key from key pair -- Bad Version of provider. How can I successfully build a working copy of heat.exe that targets 64-Bit platform? Your help is greatly appreciated Wix community.
