Iam creating an MSI for Windows7 64 bit and Windows 2008 r2..Iam running that Msi as "run as administrator" through command prompt. My problem is when iam changing the drive through "WixUIInstallDir".its not changing the drive where i want.. it is checking the drive which is having More free space (Ex:in my 'C, drive iam having 248MB..in my 'E' if it is having 250MB means it is going to 'E' drive) when i run as command prompt as msiexec targetdir=e:\ /i product.msi /L*exv log.txt when i give this command it is wrkng well.. i don't know why Msi is checking free space.. tell me how to stop that... I want my MSI to install where my Client want to install...
