awesome! yes, the problems were a twofold:
1. i was using absolute paths to an image element. I just changed the <Image> back to "logo.bmp" 2. I wasn't including the logo.bmp file in my final setup package. I added: <Payload SourceFile="logo.bmp"/> to <BootstrapperApplicationRef> as per Jacob's suggestion, and now it's all great.
