I am trying to use the ComponentGroup/@Source to set the source path for some
components but it is not working, the syntax I am using is:
<ComponentGroup Id="Test" Directory="APPLICATIONFOLDER"
Source="$(var.SolutionDir)output">
<Component>
<File Source="Dummy.exe" />
</Component>
</ComponentGroup>
I would expect that to find Dummy.exe in the path "$(var.SolutionDir)output"
but it fails with a the error:
LGHT0103: The system cannot find the file 'Dummy.exe'
If I change the File element to the following it works ok:
<File Source="="$(var.SolutionDir)output\Dummy.exe" />
Even if I change the $(var.SolutionDir) to a full path it still fails.
Should this work?
