I mentioned that because it's one of the ways in which people could start using self-signed certs more in the public world;to have them install automatically with their applications. Because you want to know the truth? I'd trust a certificate if I saw that it had the name of the developer on it or in the case of a web site cert if it's one of those, the web site owner's name rather than the name of some big corporation a lot more.
