Is there any way of running registry checks and calling a custom action before the first UI is shown in wix. The reason I'm asking is that I have a custom action that searches the registry and a few other things and comes up with the product name, I then need to imply this into my installer. Is this possible? I was able to do it in installshield and am sure there is some way I just can't figure it out nor find any information online.
