I have a Per-User application and a WiX installer that is working for us quite well now.
I was recently asked to improve our eventlog capabilities by writing to a custom eventlog. I have created the message dll, and have it all registering correctly using the util:Eventlog utilities method. My question is one of placement. Since this is a per-user application, where should I place the message dll? It seems wrong that it would be placed for each user. Anyone have any guidance on how this should really be done?
