I have been trying to get the shortcut icons for non-exe files to work as well but have been unsuccessful. Over the last 2 days no one on this form either knows how to get this to work or are unwilling to help me out. I actually have a licensed version InstallShield 2011 Professional but am tired of paying $800 every year to get the latest version so I as well am using Wix for my new project. So far all is good except for these darn shortcut icons. If you figure it out I would really appreciate finding out what you learned.
