Hi - Our msi makes some registry changes during an install using custom actions to give a non-admin user privileges to read/write registry changes. It works fine and then repair comes along and what I am finding is that 1) Original registry changes are deleted 2) New registry entries are created - the custom actions that ACL these registry entries are not run.
So at the end of a Repair - things are now messed up. What am I missing here? My first instinct was that the elevation of privileges did not happen but from the log I know my custom actions do not appear to have been scheduled, so it must be something else that I am missing doing on a Repair.
