Thanks for the feedback John. This is a real pain for me. The Wix documentation is pretty poor and does not mention any kind of limit.
Can you tell me how you created the full path by concatenating the base and relative path. I presume there is some easy way of getting hold of the absolute path where the wix build is being run?
