Thanks ! You did give me a pointer as to how to do this but I did not get there all the way. I added a new ServiceControl node with the old Service name ( and a new component Guid). But what I found was that it definitely did stop the old service but did not delete it. I have both the Remove and Stop properties set to both. Any idea what else I am missing ?
