Hi, we have a .MSI created with Wix 3.5 which seems to work well for US computers. However, someone in Taiwan tried installing it from our intranet and received this error message box :
"This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and is accessible, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package." My first thought for them is to get a verbose log and try installing locally (vs. the network share) to see exactly what's wrong. But could there also be a localization issue ? I would have thought if we didn't provide a suitable Chinese translation, the UI strings would simply appear in US English. Just wondering if there could be another issue.
