I'm getting exactly the same problem with a select few of my files (completely different filenames). I've verified that these files do exist. > The file exists and the relative path appears to be correct given that the error message changes (it drops > the 'with type' bit) when I change the path (i.e. make it invalid). This is consistent with my problem too and I can also add that changing the path to be absolute rather than relative fixes the problem completely. I'd rather not have to rely on absolute paths because the project is not only on my machine. Did you ever get a solution to this? Does anyone have any ideas about this problem and how I might go about fixing it? I'm running Wix 3.5 under Visual Studio 2010.
