Thanks for that info, but at least in my case that shouldn't be an issue since 
I won't be signing the MSI.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but even if MSI didn't have a 2GB 
limitation there are other issues to deal with when authoring very large MSI's. 
  You can get into situations where there isn't enough memory for Windows to 
verify a package and/or it takes a very, very long time to do the verification.
