Hi again, I have some other details about the issue I described last week.
First of all: it is not a problem of shared folder, I can reproduce the failure launching the installation from the local machine. On the second hand I figured out a pattern: when an installation fails with the message "Failed to commit IIS transaction due to a sharing violation. Some other application may be configuring IIS", the workaround to bypass the problem is a reboot. If I launch the installation again after rebooting my machine the setup ends correctly. Last but not least: I reproduced the error while logging the installation, details follow. MSI (s) (5C!D0) [15:09:05:062]: Product: Microarea Mago.Net Server 3.5.0 (build 669 - 20101227) -- Error 26109. Failed to commit IIS transaction due to a sharing violation.
