Yep, I think that is the issue. I was on vacation for a week and while I was gone an "emergency" upgrade was done to from TFS 2008 to TFS 2010. There is apparently an option now in the TFS 2010 build definition to run the build in a x32 or x64 process. The default being x64 of course. Now the fun part is that you can't set that option from the VS 2008 team explorer even if you have the forward compatibility pack installed. It can only be set from the team explorer in VS 2010. I'm attempting to install VS 2010 now, and set the VS 2008 builds to be x32 only.
