Not to discourage you but in early 3.0 versions I have encountered bugs that prevented me from creating binary delta patches with Pyro. Patching the full file was fine. I was too busy to follow up on the bugs or check if they were fixed in later releases so I don't know what is the state right now. I had to settle for patchwiz for the time being. Eventually, I would like to switch to WiX path build since it has more features and will probably be better supported in the future. I don't know if there is any difference in technologies used for creation of binary delta differences. I read that there are two technologies of which the newer one is available on Vista and later. Patchwiz (really mspatcha.dll, I think) has bugs on XP systems that force you to include the entire binary file in many cases.
