I've created a Wix project, and set up some additional items for my project.
Included is a folder named bitmaps, containing banner.jpg and dialog.jpg when I then export a vstemplate file, and add it as a user item, when I create a new project based on the template the bitmaps are corrupted (getting UTF-8 ified), replacing all non-ansi characters with something else, as described here: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vsx/thread/0316b38f-b78f-4b31-b667-d2b189b3dbfb I'm using the very latest build of Wix 3.5 The problem doesn't occur on the last version of WiX 3.0 on a different machine. Any idea why?
