Subject: Fw: EnterpriseSMS Wix Installation
Please find attached in word document format the EnterpriseSMS WiX InstaLLer
functionality Report. It just spells out why my installer cannot runt
CAQuietExec Custom Actions which are part of the WiXUtilExtension.dll which is
included as a refereence into my project.
This particular situation is encountered by many WiX Installation developers
and seems to be a configuration issue with the WiX Toolset.
The WixCA.dll file is required by the application for the invocation of the
arbitrary console executable suppressing the window and the WixShellExecute
Custom Action of actually assigning a Windows Shell to execute and exe. after
the Installation of all files.
The Installer i've created is got all the necessary GUI prompting the User
throughout the entire installation.., alll the EnterpriseSMS dependencies
files, DLL's e.tc are populated into a TARGETDIR but the db2mobileSQLPackage
doesnt kick off automatically for reasons attached.
