Just looked at a couple of their tutorials from that link. The one for installing a COM DLL (http://www.dalun.com/wix/02.03.2005.htm) uses self-reg which has never been a good idea. The one for adding a License Agreement dialog (http://www.dalun.com/wix/02.18.2005.htm) they decompiled an existing MSI using dark.exe & then post the entire UI Element (this could be done in one line with a UIRef even in WiX 2.0). The ones demonstrating Custom Actions & reading in XML use VB Scripts which will fail on any machine with even moderately respectable AV. and it just gets worse from there. I'm not saying the originally linked one isn't any good as I've never had the need to stop/start/restart services in an installer myself but going on the other evidence I would use it with caution.
