OK. when I reread your post, it made me think that maybe the wxs file in question is not known until build time. If that is not the case, then what I told you should work fine. Otherwise, I would generate the candle and light commands at build time adding the needing wxs file. But that is not as convenient if you are already build with the wixproj file.
