However, due to our build process, I wish certain parts of the installation to be taken from a folder relative to the msi. So after creation of the msi, I hope to create a distribution containing the following: myproduct.msi dir1/ file1_1 file1_2 dirn/ filen_1 filen_2 most of the application will be embedded in the msi CAB file but I also want to install files from (dir1...dirn). How do I specify this using Wix because: <Media Id="1" Cabinet="Product.cab" EmbedCab="yes"/> Will mean that all the File elements will be embedded into the cab.
