Just in case there is some misunderstanding, there is no "from Windows Installer" in this picture. There might be a "from Visual Studio 2008" or a "from InstallShield" but these are all just tools to generate MSI file setups. WiX has a better solution than Visual Studio setups for many tasks, particularly installing services. Visual Studio 2008 setups are most definitely not straight-up Windows Installer. If anything WiX is!
