You'll need to set both WixTasksPath and WixTargetsPath. They need to point to the WixTasks.dll and Wix.targets file respectively. Try: /p:WixTasksPath=C:\wix3.0\bin\WixTasks.dll /p:WixTargetsPath=C:\wix3.0\bin\Wix.targets
