Hi Bob,

I am unable to find any change that would imply a removed component (no 
components were removed, no GUIDs changed).
The only thing I can think of is maybe the transform for the only MSI adding a 
font installation could
produce problems (even if it's not the applied transform), as the patch is a 
single patch for all MSIs.
Any other reasons you can think of for such problems ?
I would like to avoid having to mark the patch as "not uninstallable"....

I am not very sure what you meant by:
"You need to check the feature states after each operation, not just during"

The most common cause is minor upgrades that remove components. You need 
to check the feature states after each operation, not just during. See
