Hello,
I want to deploy a temp file and merge a file already
installed and delete that temp file at the end of installation. I want to know
how to make sure the temp file was
delete after merged? I know that we can
use RemoveFile element when a component selected but this done before merge.
The following are the procedures that I expected to happen.
1.
Deploy the temp file under current user’s temp
folder.
2.
Merge the content of temp file with local after
InstallFinalize sequence.
3.
Remove the temp file from temp folder.
I want to create a custom action to delete temp file after
merged but RemoveFile only available under component.
