I'm cutting my teeth on WiX 3 by converting an InstallShield MSI to a proper MSI, and I'm running into a problem with the services merge modules. I have three services, each with their own merge module, that need to be registered with a domain account. I have not been able to figure out how to get the account and password properties passed down from my dialog to the merge module. I've found plenty of info on accessing properties in merge modules, and I have no problem getting the services to install with hard-coded values, but this one little gap is still eluding me. If I use ConfigurationData in the MergeRef it doesn't appear to set the value (I'm guessing this is set at compile time?) and I'm running out of ideas. Any suggestions are much appreciated!
