You haven't said this in any of your posts, but if this is associated with error 1324 then there are several articles in MS Help&Support about this message, such as:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923101 or http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894510 which is about the Shell Folders registry entries (that point to the well known folders) having an invalid character somewhere. This error isn't a WiX error or message, or specific to some product being installed. It's a generic message about some error during an MSI install, perhaps because there's an issue with the Shell Folder path entries in the registry.
