Quite unusual.

Adding a shortcut cannot break your network stack.
You must have changed *something* else over the last month, and/or made an
assumption somewhere and were very lucky for a month.

Create a verbose install and uninstall log.
Check your system event log before and after install/uninstall.
Check c:\windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log after installation.

Do you have any uninstall CAs that delete files/registry keys, change
Permissions on files/reg keys, etc...

Do you install any network packet drivers/filters with your product? or
Layered Service Providers?

Hi,

I am facing very serious and wearied problem. When I am un-installing my
product, my machine's TCP/IP protocol gets rest. It stops all the major
services, stops internet/intranet connections.

It is really very big issue. Did anyone faced this problem still.

I am facing this after I added shortcut.

Thanks,

Rahul.
