Have you remembered to add "SecureCustomProperties" to your property table? (Or does candle/light do that for you??) K. Yes, I have the following element defined within InstallExecuteSequence of version 2.0.1000.0. Another thing is that in the new version of the product, I have completely new components with different IDs. Also the files-to install and the target directory are different. Another important thing is that the product name is also different in the new version. The only similarity between the two versions is the upgrade code. Thanks.
