Normally when I stall COM components, the way it has been done before is once they are registered go into Component Services. Click on the Security tab... Select "Use Custom Access Permissions"... Click Edit. Click the add button. Add a user account, plus SYSTEM and Administrators to the list. Then select "allow Access". Then go back to previous screen and select "Use Custom Launch Permissions" adding the same users and group to the list. Then select "Allow Launch".
I have to do this for about 20 different custom EXEs and Services. Is there anyway to do the same thing using Wix?
