I have downloaded the WIX 3.0 SDK, I have started the tutorial. The examples are 2.0. I modified the first one (samplefirst) so that Candle would work correctly. When using Light, I get error LGTH0048, "the document element 'Wix' is invalid, a WiX output file must use 'wixOutput' as the document element name". What are they talking about here? Is there an error list?
Has anyone upgraded the samples to v3? Also, I am fairly new to using lists. Do I have to get each and every email that everyone submits, or can I just get emails that are directed towards my question. On this site, is there a forum that is specific to WIX.https://sourceforge.net/community/forum, or is this list the one true way to get my WiX questions answered?
