Sorry, I took yesterday off from work. My latest update is that if I use MMsiBreak it will infact ask me to pick the debugger but the symbols aren't available. Yet, my next line of code is a MessageBox.Show() and I then attach the debugger and the symbols are suddenly available.
This is literally the same package and the same process. The missing symbols suddenly become available. Any thoughts? --- On Sat, 2/28/09, Neil Sleightholm <n...@x2systems.com> wrote: > From: Neil Sleightholm <n...@x2systems.com> > Subject: Re: [WiX-users] DTF Debugging > To: "General discussion for Windows Installer XML toolset." > <wix-users@lists.sourceforge.net> > Date: Saturday, February 28, 2009, 5:28 AM > It doesn't seem to work for me no matter what I try. > > Neil > > -----Original Message----- > From: Scott Sam [mailto:s...@clearviewecm.com] > Sent: 27 February 2009 18:29 > To: General discussion for Windows Installer XML toolset.; > chr...@deploymentengineering.com > Subject: Re: [WiX-users] DTF Debugging > > Usually, for me, clicking ok on that brings up the code as > long as it > was compiled in debug. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Neil Sleightholm [mailto:n...@x2systems.com] > Sent: Friday, February 27, 2009 1:12 PM > To: chr...@deploymentengineering.com; General discussion > for Windows > Installer XML toolset. > Subject: Re: [WiX-users] DTF Debugging > > Chris, did you find a solution to this? > > Neil > > -----Original Message----- > From: Christopher Painter > [mailto:chr...@deploymentengineering.com] > Sent: 25 February 2009 21:27 > To: General discussion for Windows Installer XML toolset. > Subject: [WiX-users] DTF Debugging > > > Is anyone having problems having trouble debugging DTF > CA's? > > I used to be able to set the MMsiBreak environment > variables and step > into my code without any difficulty but now when I attach > the debugger I > get an error message saying that no symbols are loaded for > any stack > frame.
