All those Microsoft Dlls are part of the OS and have been that way since Windows 2000. Unless you are supporting Windows NT 4.0 or old versions of Windows 98 you don't need to install them.

My question is that I want to install these dlls on target machines system32 folder (if they does not exist). Can you please suggest some example script on how to arrive at above requirement? In the case of re-distributing of Microsoft dlls, In one of existing article I found that is through MergeModule found in C:\ProgramFiles\Common\MergeModule folder Microsoft_<arch>_x86.msm, if I want to install MFC redistributables I can use Microsoft_VC80_MFC_x86.msm, but I am not too sure which of dlls get installed as part of this msm file ie., weather if it can install all of above mentioned re-distributable files. Also does the windows installer require the current user to have Administrator privileges to access system32 folder?
