Hello WiX community, My question is probably rhetorical, but I failed to find more or less meaningful answer throughout the net. I need to modify the existent txt file during install. It is hosts file. Well, it is a consequence of creating a new IIS site and the requirement to run the application right after installation without extra manual steps.
As far as I understand, IniFile and XmlFile are not the options. Or not?.. For now, I fall back to use custom action for this. Yes, very-very safe and tidy custom action. I would appreciate a hint if there are other ideas.
